Value of a '66 C-10 ?

Looking to find some sites online for an accurate and reliable value listing for a '66 C-10. What would you all recommend? Also welcome personal opinions. It is a '66 C-10 Custom Cab Long Bed Fleetside, (was a V-8, probably a 283), now has a worn out '67 6-250 truck engine, 3-Speed column shift. Truck is in a strong #5 condition. A solid Southern truck that needs an engine and a little work to be a driver or a very good truck for restoration.

Any info would be appreciated.

I use this site alot when trying to determine value. I use NADA too, but the values there are pretty far fetched. I hope that helped, good luck!

Re: Value of a '66 C-10 ?

1966 was a strang Year the 250 283 some 327 and the 396 even found its way in to that truck back up lights only year that got them if yours don't have back up lights yours is not a 1966 so on the rear of the bed has 2 round holes below the brake lights

3 on the tree 4 speeds power glides and i was told the th350 specail order like the 396

so is it a long bed or short bed
if you are trying to build it back to the way it was it wont be worth much

put the 327 in it with the 700R4 with front disc brakes put the front and rear sway bars in and build it stock with wires and so forth i have 5 of of the dam things and i live in the NB#1 state that likes old cars and trucks Calif

Funny how big a difference some wheels make! The truck looks WAY better in my avatar then on Craigslist.
