Thumbs up Goodguys 1st Mid-West Nationals

Anyone planning on going to the Goodguys 1st Mid-West Nationals at the Kansas Speedway? It's October 11-13.

"Over 1,500 rods, customs, classics, street machines, muscle cars and trucks thru ’72"

Goodguys Mid-West Nationals

I’ve talk to “justin” and I think he’s coming up for it. I plan to have my truck back together by then (but I still have a lot of work to do!!). Let me know if you are going and maybe we can all meet up somewhere.

Thats alot of cars!!!!!!! My buddy and I have seen that on our car show schedule and always thought it would be cool, but it is a 7 hour drive for us, or is it 9, hmmmm. But if its that big maybe we just might make an exception. Any more info on it? I think it would be a blast. Maybe we'll just leave our trucks here and take something reliable with fuel economy.

that is the weekend of Cruisin' The Coast (5000-6000 registered cars, 1000 more non-registered), or else I would try to make it up there.

I guess its 750 miles from me, at 13 miles to the gallon at $1.50 a gallon it would take around $173 to get there and home. I'll have some thinking to do.
