I had a few people come by today and look at my 72 Cheyenne. The first couple of guys were really into the truck, but were waiting for their deals to seal. The last guy wasted 2 fricken hours of my time, to only tell me that I should be ashamed for asking such a hhigh price for an old "BEATER"!! I was PISSED!!! He said he was expecting something in "PRISTINE" condition. FOR 3700 DOLLARS!!!??????? What an A$$!

If I wasn't really into wanting to do a frame off resto on a shorty I would even think about making a cross country road trip just to look at your truck man.

A Cheyenne with a big block & A/C for $3,700 WHAT A DEAL! What an egghead of a guy to waste 2 hours of your time then tell you the "prisitine" line. You should think about listing it on Ebay. You have no one to waste your time and I'll bet you sell it for that EASY! I would have seriously considered giving that guy a knuckle sandwich or tell him off extensively, then laugh in his face

i wonder if he even knows what "pristine" means. your truck looks pretty darn nice for the money you're asking. hell i got over 13K in mine and it doesn't even move yet. i'm afraid i'd be in jail if i'd been there, some people are just plain stupid to offend a person like that. hold your ground, you'll get your asking price without any trouble.

I feel your pain. I get several tire kickers when I go to sell. Sometimes the same guys locally each time. I believe I ask very fair prices and tell all I know and still get lots of dreamers. Seems everyone wants one but for about 1/3 the value. Your truck looks great. What part of Cali. are you in? I don't but my trucks to sell but sometimes I need to sell to help finance next move like I have recently. Hang in there, that will sell and buyer will be tickled.

I hate "kickers",too.One thing I hate when selling,a true sign the guy`s an idiot,is when the first thing that comes out of their mouth is,"how much less will ya take for it?"My reply is usually,"It`s priced to sell."I mean,they haven`t even asked any questions about the condition,haven`t heard it run,felt the brakes,checked for front end play,checked for leaks,looked under for rot...How can you negotiate before you know what you`re negotiating for?

Some people don't know how to shop for vehicles. I agree with Special K, I respond with lets drive it first, look it over real good, and I tell them its priced right. Your truck looks good to me. I hate when people dump on my stuff thinking they will make me feel nieve and give it to them. That is just rude. But I also think you have to be willing to come down a few dollars when you sell a used car just so that the buyer feels like they got a good deal. So its like a garage sale, price it a little higher than you are willing to accept... or through in that old lawnmower with the deal.

Manimal, thats a nice truck, well worth the $3700 asking price. I've seen them up here with paint peeling, patches, rust, and worn out SBC's for $9500. Go figure.

I agree with everyone that that is a very nice truck for the money, I also agree with Gmman, if that guy spent 2 hours looking at/all over that truck & asking all kinds of questions & to act like that, he might have been figuring out enough about the truck & you to come back & steal it, make sure you lock that thing up tight & put it where you can see it.
