Look what followed me home






Found this in a pasture , it is an old army truck from grand forks air force base , Has no motor or tranny , was originally a 350 350 turbo truck with power brakes, shes pretty rough but I have a 454 laying around and a TH 400 that both need rebuilding, it will keep me out of trouble for a while . I went to wall mart and flat blacked over the rust and let it set over winter, but now shes getting over 40 degrees so I supose I will dig into it , Found it laying on the ground, she will need a lot of work but I am going to get a ride out of it this summer sometime. Not looking forward to the wiring woes, Who make a new harness from the cab forward ?

Congrats, I owned one of those Airforce trucks, sold it and now I have a 4X4 3/4ton

My daily driver is a 71 lwb 1/2 two wheel drive with a 250 six 3 on the tree,best I ever got was 18, usually 15-17 but she is gutless but it will get you there sooner or later!!! I have to many of these trucks but they make
my day !! I will have to get a better look at yours sometime !!
