Brake ????

Will the brake booster and MC from a 1/2 ton work on a 3/4 ton, both have disk fronts and drum rears??

Re: Brake ????

Yeah, but the 3/4 ton ones have dual diaphrams and a lot more griping force, so the 1/2 tonner will probably cause you to have a harded to push pettle than you have now.

Re: Brake ????

Guess I'll have to find a 3/4ton booster, will the MC work ok, or di I need one of those too, and btw IIRC the routing for the brake lines is different from the m/c also, the front fitting goes to the rear brakes, and the rear for the front, or is it visa versa??

Re: Brake ????

You can get one from Autozone or the like for $120 ish (new booster with MC) The 3/4 ton is opposite of the 1/2 ton. So your rear would be the front on the 1/2 ton and the same for the frnt to rear.
