I like it, what size tires are you running? I like how they fill the wheel wells nicely.

Those are 32s, same size as what I have in the front of my Mini-Monster. Would be interesting to see a picture of the truck lowered and the big tires, I bet it'll look real mean

Re: Finally got my drop done (PICS!!!)

By the way Jon, I really liked the way yer truck sat before, now that is lowered not so much, but as long as you put some wide tires it'll still be cool. Try some 245/60 front and 295/50 rears, you'll need stock 15x8 wheels for the fronts and 15x10 wheels for the rear but it will be pretty mean combination

Looks much better after the drop...here's a pic of my truck with 3" drop coils in the front and a flip kit in the rear. The rear wheels are 15x10 w/ 295/50's and 15x7 in the front on 235/60's

Re: Finally got my drop done (PICS!!!)

Im doing 17x7 in front and 18x9 in back, and the wheels will be toq thrust. And as before, Yes Ivan D. I loved the way it looked before but it rode like crap it would bounce and shake all over the place(suspension being to soft) and i didnt like it, either way its 2wd so i wanted it to be dropped.

Yeah Weld, Crager, Center Line. Heck even Summit sells their own cheaper version of Weld wheels. I'm not sure if the Weld knockoffs that Summit sells will fit our trucks.

Re: Finally got my drop done (PICS!!!)

The solid-face Centerlines will look good on that truck, use 15x8 fronts and 15x10 rears. If you want Torque Thrust go with 17", IIRC they don't come in 17x10 but 9.5" wide instead, so get a pair of 17x8 for the front and 17x9.5 for the rear. Whatever you do please don't use two different diameters of rims, I'm yet to see a vehicle (any vehicle) that looks decent with rear rims bigger than the fronts.

Oh, and don't you dare to drop that rear end down, looks really mean the way it is right now, kinda gives it an oldschool muscle car looks.

Re: Finally got my drop done (PICS!!!)

Jon, forgot to mention it, with a rake like that yer caster is damn near zero right now. Yer truck will be unstable and tend to wander all over the road at higher speeds. Take it to an alignment shop and make them pull as much caster as possible out of it. I'd imagine the adjustability of the stock suspension is pretty limited tho, so you may need to replace the upper control arms with tubular ones and get the new set with a different offset than stock so they position the ball joint a little further back to give you more caster.

Re: Finally got my drop done (PICS!!!)

Thanks but he just sold the truck lol.

And as for the caster Ill see if i get it done soon, how much do those control arms you speak of cost, is it only the top or both.

Re: Finally got my drop done (PICS!!!)

You can get the control arms from A1 racing, but they have a lot of different sizes so you'll need to know the dimensions of yer stock upper control arms.
