Soft top ID

Hi,
Is there any way to ID an unmarked soft top? The tops at the STC/Kayline site do not help. I assume the '69-'72 tops were not exclusively snap tops. Is there a significant diff between the '69-'72 and the '73-'75 tops?
Thanks in advance,
Jon

Re: Soft top ID

First, welcome to the board from the pacific northwest.

Kayline tops had a small tag above the rear window. I believe that STC tops are screen printed "Specialty Top Co" on the rear window. I don't know about Bestop or any other brands that may have existed in the past.

69-'72 trucks are completely different than the '73-'75's so I would assume the tops are completely different too.

Be forewarned that STC has gone out of business and taken at least one board members $. This leaves your only choices for new tops as Bestop and custom making your own.
