69 c/10 6.2 diesel conversion

Hey all- new to the forum
Was wondering if anybody has experience with this conversion? I've got a 1969 C/10 longbed- My old man bought it new and it's been in the family ever since. It's in need of a repower- I'm planning on installing a 6.2 diesel (I'm a fan of diesels). I just got a great deal on an 82 c/20 with 12k on Goodwrench 6.2 plus rebuilt turbo 400- $750. I figure with a complete parts truck the swap should be relativly easy as far as having all the diesel parts available- I've read that the 6.2 has the same motor mounts as the sb chev. Anything I should know about that might make this conversion more difficult- such as any welding of fabbing? I've got pleanty of experience with engine/ tranny swaps- no fear there. Just wondering if it's pretty much just a bolt in swap.
Thanks

hydro boost brake booster is required for power brakes, electrical for glow plugs is pretty easy. I would use 73 up motor mounts instead of towers.

I was going to do the same thing......ended up selling the 6.2 burb to earlgta.
Everything just about bolts in, since you have the complete truck start swapping.........only thing use either 72 BB mounts or like said above later model heavy duty mounts. The weight is like a bb chevy so it's not too bad.
the only other thing might be the fuel tank but it isn't a biggie, the deisel page talks about adding a carter electric fuel pump
