85 silverado 30,000 kms original

I Posted a picture of an 84 silverado. It was 2 tone brown. Its still here on the page if u wanna see it. It was called reuniting witht the love of my life.

Well i hadnt seen the truck all winter. 2 Days ago i went and seen the truck to make him a buyback offer. I pulled up to the truck and got sick. This guy has wrecked it. He wore his dirty oily coveralls along with whoever he gave a ride home from work. The seat is screwed, the interior is disgusting. The grill is broke hes got a dent in the front fender and a rust spot above the heyhole on the driver side i told him to take care of after i sold it has spread throughout driving it thru winter. The engine compartment looks like a drilling rig floor in the 80's while tripping out. I still wanted it because of the history but i made him an offer 500 less than what he wanted. He got me down 500 so i felt it was fair. He says well if you want it for 500 less i gotta take out the brand new battery i put in and the starter. UNBELIEVABLE. I love this truck but had to let it go for good. 2 hours later i found a truck on the internet . An 85 chev silverado with 30,000 km's. Thats right folks, thats original. Im going to see it tommorow, its about a 4 hour drive. The guy told me it was owned by his wifes father from new. He told me that a 20 hour drive would be worth seeing the condition its in. Original tires from 22 years ago. He said its mint other than the paint has faded a bit over the years. Her dad put like 2 miles a year on it. Beleive it or not its not screwed seal wise. He did have to put a new carb on it. Ill post some pictures of it for you guys when i can. I hope its as good as he says it is. He said i wouldnt regret it
