Re: Tubuler A Arms Upper

He stands behind the parts he sells. ART allows ~5* more caster adjustment. MUCH needed when going low with these trucks.

ART- Good customer service
CPP- NO customer service

As Gringo mentioned, Air Ride adds a little additional caster to the mix. Also, their design is visually pleasing and and the arms are high quality. I had toyed around with the idea of building arms to market and sell myself... but Air Ride's design is flawless... some think they're a little spendy, but I couldn't make them any for any less.

Re: Tubuler A Arms Upper

I agree, the ART arms are by far the nicest I've seen. The price is about the same as well.

Re: Tubuler A Arms Upper

Folks, I purchased the CPP upper control arms and was unable to install my new Moog Ball joint through the top because of inadequate fabrication clearances and weld metal build up. I was uncomfortable with mounting the ball joint underneath the arm, so I returned them and purchased the Air Ride Strong Arms. I was very pleased with all aspects of the Strong Arms except they do not come with a lmit of travel bump stop. A bump stop is not needed with air bags but is needed with coils. I was able to easily mount a small stop on the crossmember, so the fix is an easy one. I had my vehicle aligned and it appears that these upper arms provided 1 degree of additional positive caster. I am very pleased with the ride and handling.

I dont understand how a manufacturer could screw something up like that. I guess thats why people around here shy away from CPP.
