Wink Re: Look what I got myself for my b-day

Well there's enough replies I guess. I did get it for myself as a b-day present. Its big brother is in the garage but it's winter again in PA snowing like crazy right at this very moment and it was almost 80* on wednesday

faribran: DETAILS: I figured I would share this as I have built 38 of the real size SBC's and I am very impressed with the attention to detail on this model.(All but the plug wires they are hooked together and you can't get the firering order right) Availible at wally world (where I got this one) and other places $20. Listed as Chevy Small Block Street Rod Engine. Its 1/6th scale comes in a kit painted and all just glue and a few screws.

Bishops Trucks: If I cold only find a 1/6th scale C10 swb fleet I would be a happy man.

cooters: funny feelings are good sometimes right?

Re: Look what I got myself for my b-day

Being the a self proclaimed GEARHEAD all I can say is Awesome, Ram-Man. The full size counterparts are much better. I have one in the garage at the same stage,388 but, it looks like its going to CrashEd on trade for some much needed sheet metal if it ever gets warm around here. I.E. No heat in the garage. I have other powerplant options for the build.

Re: Look what I got myself for my b-day

Hey I got one of dem motors too. I use it to hold my computer down. I bought mine from the Harbor Freight retail store. But mine has an oval airbreather. Anyways they are cool and surprising enough the details are great.

Re: Look what I got myself for my b-day

I'm also like I said it almost hit 80* wednesday.

hey Kevin this might be a good power plant for low buck but, the you would have to combine your two builds and call this one SLOW BUCK because you would have to push it

Re: Look what I got myself for my b-day

I caught the "Details" right off because of the Wood Grain Floor in your "Shop". I have looked at a couple in stores and wondered how detailed they were.
As a side note.I was in Target' today and scored a 1/64 green/white top blazer.
