How much is a 292 worth?

How much is a 292 worth? It's been sitting for 10 years, no idea what condition it's in, but it's complete. What do you think?

Re: How much is a 292 worth?

I would expect them to let me have it for $50.00 or less and help load. That and I like the 6.Someone who doesn't really want one wouldn't even take it condition unknown.

Re: How much is a 292 worth?

If it has the correct PS pump and brackets/pulleys, that alone is worth over $100. I bought a good runner complete with those brackets for $125 and I was real happy to get it at that price. Of course, I prefer an inline over a V8.

Re: How much is a 292 worth?

If you can get a complete motor that the condition is unknown for 50.00 bucks, I say do it. Even if you find out the block is unuseable, the bolt ons are going to be worth the $50.00.

Good Luck
