1964 Carryall

My buddy Jeff and I picked this one up earlier this week. Jeff is going to be installing 4 wheel disc and air ride on it. It has a 350 and a 700r4 and AC.. He is the third owner. Here are a couple of pics.

Re: 1964 Carryall

Great find! I bought my '66 from the second owner, who had owned it since 1971. It's nice to know the true history of an old vehicle. Post some pics after he gets the bags on there, they look cool slammed!

Re: 1964 Carryall

Hello

You can get the weatherstripping for the entire sub from a company called the Truck Shop. There web site is www.truckandcarshop.com and the number is 1-800-chevy-47 Are you guys gonna put a Porter Dropmember on the sub? That would be sweet. Good luck on the build. Lets see some progress pics A.S.A.P.

Wish I still had a burban!

Re: 1964 Carryall

Thanks guys,

No I didn't sell it. I tried parting it out because I didn't do the best job Zing the frame. I wanted to use all the good parts on a 64 shortbed that I got for $500.00. I sold what I could but the passenger side of the body was pretty beat up that I couldnt give it away. So I sawzalled it and got $150.00 bucks from a metal recycler. So on my 64 I bought a PorterBuilt Droppedmember! A power mustang rack, and just ordered my Art Strong arms about a week ago. Good luck on your burb project, I think you should lay it out on some big billet wheels.
