Back at it..... New location....
I was finally able to get my blazer out of storage and to its current home. Not my garage but a very cool neighbors garage thats just across the street. I had to buy a few new tools..... (yeah right.lol... had too...) Picked up a new mig and a air compressor..... Found a nice tool box too. Now that its summer I have to find the time to work on it.... I've started the floor board process. I've got all the metal including new rocker boxes. I hope it all works out.... I'd hate to have goofy gap at any of the body lines, lol.... I know you guys are all about the pics so here ya go...
After I get some of the body work going I'm going to pull that 350 and drop in a 327 that my dads giving me that came out of my grandpa's 69 lwb.... Last edited by Big J; 04-09-2007 at 09:56 PM. |

Re: Back at it..... New location....
Well heres what I started with.....
I want new doors, drivers front quarter panel, passenger lower quarter panel. I have about everything else. Just need to started cutting, flanging, and welding. Then, ya know, hopefully just a little bit of bondo fun...... I helped the neighbor build the garage, so he hooked me up. He also gets to use my air, welder, hand tools etc..... Thats why we should all remember, ya get what ya give.... You help someone out it'll come back around to ya..... Last edited by Big J; 04-12-2007 at 06:16 PM. |

Re: Back at it..... New location....
Yep, I've been workin' on this thing so long that when I tell someone about it my story always starts out with, "In the before time, in the long long ago, there was a blazer".
