Need Advice on 1968 swb...
I have always wanted to restore a older Chevy Shortbox and the other day we found one that has been sitting for a few years. I looks to be a 1968 all original, 6 banger with a 4 speed, 2wd, custom, swb... I has rust but only rusted through at rocker panels and floors. I am wondering what a pickup like this is worth before I call him.

Re: Need Advice on 1968 swb...
Offer the lowest figure possible in your mind then work up from there, sometimes $50-$100 gets it, other times your paying $750 or $1500, just set a max figure and try to stay well below it. If they get offended with your offer ask what price they were thinking and counter downward from there, be sure to check it front to back top to bottom, and if he seems to high tell him everything you located that it'll need from brakes to tires, motor or trans, electrical repairs etc....
