My Project

Hi folks !
I'm new here been lurking for a few months.

I thought I would put some pics of my truck up for ya'll.
She's a 1971 and all original. 250 / 3 on the tree. I bought this truck from the original owners son. I'm the 3rd owner. I've got all the original paperwork still in the glove box.
I spottted this truck in the guys yard and just whipped in on a spur of the moment deal and asked if he'd sell it , he told me $1,000.00 . And the rest is history.

I'm planning on keeping the 250 , but puttting in a 200-4R trans and redoing the interior . PS / PB Wheels and such. The bed is in great shape . It had a camper shell on it from the day it was bought until I bought it.

Nuff Rambling. What do ya'll think.

Zac

Re: My Project

That looks like a great start , around here that truck would go for an easy 2500 with a body that clean..

I just picked up a 250/3 spd truck a week ago to make my daily driver. I originally thought about dropping a 350 I had in it ,but I was pretty impressed with the 250's pep. I'm curious to see what it gets for mileage. I'll bet it beats my C-20's 10 MPG by a few points.

Re: My Project

It's not a deal it's a steal! The body looks great and you will know just how good a truck you have when you save $$$ on body work which will pay for paint etc.

esll.

Re: My Project

Thanks fellas

When my Toyota 4X4 sells, I'll have some cash to start a build thread.

I've got so many plans for this truck , it's gonna become an addiction
