I have a set of blue buddy buckets. They are in nice shape. Foam is good and if I remember correctly only the driver side has any defect and I think it was a seam problem down in the corner where the back meets the front. Course I haven't looked at em for awhile so there could be more problems than I remember. I want 425.00 for them. They really are buried, but if anyone is seriously interested I will get them out and clean em up for pictures. Sorry, no shipping and no trades. If no board members are interested they will be at the Monroe swap meet next month.

No Problem with that if you can hold them for me for about a month or so. My niece graduates in June and I could pick them up then. If that would work, otherwise I could make a trip.

Ok here are the pics finally. I wiped em down a little bit. They were pretty grungy. I dont know how clean they will come...maybe a little elbow grease? My brother helped me pull them out and practically begged me to give them to him...lol sorry little bro. We sat in em out in the yard while we ate our lunch...Pretty darn comfy if I do say so myself =) Let me know if this is what you were expecting. I think its a really fair deal considering the money the junky ones are bringing.

Yes the drivers seat does move back and forth and the little arm is on there. And thats just surface rust you see on the frame...no bad spots that cant be sanded and painted.

I am going to use these as a pattern to make them. High demand for these seats but no availability. Shouldn't cost that much to manufacture them anyways. Simple metal work. Except for the tube bending. Wish me luck.

Probably won't be ready until around the end of the year. I don't have a shop, so most of the stuff will have to get farmed out. I guess then I will have to become a vendor.

I know this is an old thread and you have long sold these, but do you remember where you originally acquired them? My Lost 65 that I just got back after all these years had a set just like those. Just curious....

Ive had two identical sets. One came out of a 68 GMC Camper Special, and the other came out of a 67 Chevy. Sold the seats but still have one of the trucks. Not sure which ones these were.

Glad to hear your truck came home though.

That's the only discouraging thing; some previous owner took the buddy buckets out.
The older fella that I bought my Lost 65 said they weren't there when he bought it 12+ years ago.
