New build gas to carb flow question

Finally got everything in and connected since starting with a bare engine compartment last year. This should have been the easiest part but now I cant get the fuel pump (new) to push gas to the carb. 327 sb to edelbrock. used an electric pump to get the flow started from the tank. Any thoughts about getting the flow going is appreciated.

Fill the float bowls with fuel and you should be fine after start up. It does not take long for the pump to put fuel to the carb if it is already to the pump. I woulds say 1 or 2 revolutions of the engine really. If the engine is new make sure to break in the cam according to manufacters specifacations. Good luck lighting fire to the new powerplant it's a woderful feeling after the work is done
