Up-date on my 57
The column drop still needs some finishing touches but it works, lower column mount is in, tailgate latches and straps are done, and the inner panel and outer door skins are FINISHED! Total pain in the butt to get smooth and the right convex curve. Now working on the edge of the step (sorta rocker panel). It was replaced by the previous owner but got very flattened when I had it sand blasted. Enjoy PS: I have more pics of the door job if you are interested.

Re: Up-date on my 57
Where did you get that cool louvered tailgate skin? That truck is coming along very nicely. Always a pleasure to see the progress shots.

The tailgate is not a skin, it came as you see. You can get it with the stock latch tabs or smooth like mine. I got it through AutoBody Specialties in Middlefield,Ct but they are just a distributor. It was around $285 (ouch) but worth it. I think Brothers has them too. |

I think for anyone going "all out custom" this truck is going to raise the bar! Really clean work, it looks very nice!
