2000 style Chevy single cab seats?
I'm trying to find anyone who has used this style of 40/20/40 seat in their truck and if there were any problems with the fit. I want to avoid mounting a 3rd point for a shoulder strap to the cab and I like the flip down console those years have.

There are a bunch of threads on this topic. You can click "my pics" below to see my setup, I didn't use the center seat though.
Here is a thread going over at the Blazer side right now: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...47#post2134847 |

Re: 2000 style Chevy single cab seats?
Thanks for the pics KAILUAZ. I have a set of '99 Sierra seats that are going in my truck and up until recently mounting them has been on the to address list. So did you leave out the jump seat because it didnt fit or because you just didnt want it in there?

Re: 2000 style Chevy single cab seats?
I left it out to put in a stereo setup. It fits physically but the mounting would be a problem. With the seats I have you have to push the mounting brackets back a bit to mount it on the stock "hump", this makes the center seat tabs not line up. If you pushed the seat mounts forward and mounted the seats in front of the stock "hump" (on the floor) you could get the center seat to fit.
Hope that makes sense. If you go out and throw all three seats in there you will see what I mean. |

Re: 2000 style Chevy single cab seats?
KAILUAZ In your opinion could the bracket be modified to fit in the forward position and how is the height of the seat when you sit in it? Is it comparable to the stock or does it sit higher?

If you want the center seat you can make it work. I'm not sure about the stock seat hight,, the PO had buckets in it when I bought it. I'm 600 and 230 lbs and fit just fine. I think everyone feels the steering wheel is a bit close/low no matter what seats you run.
