4.5/6?

I am looking into lowering the truck. I want the 2.5 drop spindles from ECE and probably some 2" springs. Out back 4" springs should be in monday and then 2" blocks. Also getting super track bar and disc brake parts. Should I have any problems with 4.5" up front? What else should I look into?

4.5 is fine in the front. It will ride stock. Raise the sway bar if you have one though.

I run 5.5 in the front of mine and drive it everywhere.

I agree 100%.... especially the raising of the sway bar after installing urethane bushings (they make a difference). You could also just try cutting 1 coil if you don't already have the front drop springs.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: 4.5/6?

Well the front springs are old and sagging so I would rather get a new spring up front. The 4" inch spring is what I got off a board member and the 2" blocks are for if I decide to bag it in the future. I am attempting to make a setup that is ready for bags if I decide to do them, right now it isn't an option.

Edit:
Also looking for some rally wheels off a 73 - 80 something. What is the going rate for those (15x8)?

New springs would be the better option then.

As for 15x8 ralleys, $20ea bare up to $50ea loaded (trim rings & centers). The contributing factor on cost is the demand.... someone who needs them out of their way will let them go cheaper than someone looking to make a profit.
