what is the best company to buy from. i want one of the soft rides like from skyjacker. i saw that rough country has a regular lift for the 67-72 cheyv pick ups but would this work on my 72 blazer. im looking for 2in or 3in lift.

also what exhaust from flowmaster. I have around a grand for everything.

I'd bet a mod will pick up on it and move it for ya soon enough.

Take some to surf the different sections, you'll find not only the answers to both of your questions but LOTS more great info about these old trucks too.

Well said VT. I live 30 miles from Skyjacker. They seem to be a solid company with lots of $$$ backing. I've heard that the owner of Skyjacker, and the owner of Superlift used to be partners until they had a disagreement, but that's another story. Anyway, quality-wise, I'd probably go with Skyjacker, but that's just me. I moved it for you, so hopefully you'll get more info here.

I`ve always liked Superlift over Skyjacker and Rancho.They always offered more complete components and extreme lifts.For out of the box these days,I recommend Tuff Country.That`s what Ive used for my last couple of lifts and am very please with both.

I like skyjackers lift. I got a 6" lift with blocks in the rear on my '79 and another 4" lift with blocks on my '81 Blazer. Really like both of them. Try to go to flowmasters website they have different sound clips of there mufflers should be able to help you out.

I have alway used Tuff Countrys lifts. If you are just going to drive it get the soft ride and for wheeling get the heavy duty springs.

My last two tuff country lifts have sagged, so I'm back to superlift I guess i should have never left. If your gonna keep it don't go cheap!! I just got a 6" superlift complete for my blazer for $650.00 to the door from 4-wheel parts. Hope this helps.

Superlifts are very nice. I have used them a few times without issues.

My current project has a 4" block in the rear, so I will be looking to replace that soon.

i just bought a 2" lift for my 72 Blazer. I wanted front heavy duty springs (they say they are for a big block), and new rear 52" springs. I didn't want add a leafs or a block and Tuff Country was the only place that had what i wanted. I bought them from JC Whitney because they were offering free shipping at the time. I think that deal is over.
It dosent list these springs as a kit. Only under springs.
