need some help

Hey all got off work little early today so i decided to put my back springs and shocks on. Pass side went great had it done in like 20 mins. Go to the other side. Not so good. Its a 71 with the coils. Well anyways started to unbolt the top top on the spring well it strips out dam. So i cut the spring thinking i will cut the heat off the bolt. Well that worked but that cup that holds the spring on split in half. (The top one) I have looked around but i can not find anyone that sells this. Anyone know of a site that has theses. Thanks JAY

Re: need some help

I think GMC Pauls carries the cups, here's what I copied off of his web site.

67-72 Coil Spring Retainer Cups Each
387984 67-72 Coil spring retainer cups, used to mount rear coils to trailing arms and frame at top and bottom of springs

$6.95 ea.
