standard to auto ?
Hey all
I have a 65 with a 230 3 speed and want to install a 350 auto. Will the th350 bolt straight up or do I need a adapter? Thanks Mike |

Re: standard to auto ?
Hay, I have a 66 with a 250 and a TH350. It bolts right up, but you have to have the correct flex plate and starter. Mine had to have the long tail, and I had to modify the crossmember but it is worth the trouble.

Re: standard to auto ?
I had 3rd gear go out in my '66 c-10 longbed and I decided to go to an automatic. Used a th350 since I had one I just went through, and I had to use a different crossmember and I had to have the driveshaft shortened.

Re: standard to auto ?
Thanks Guys
mine is a short stepper. But I don't have any type of cross member so I will be making one. I have a short shaft 350 that was giving to me will that work or do I need to find a long shaft? Thanks Mike |
