Heater Control Knobs
87 Suburban
How do you get these &^%^%$% lever knobs off so I can get this plastic cover off and polish it up? Thanks. jor |

They're held on by a clip that is inserted into the knob. Just pull out on them, and the should come off. They will be on there pretty firmly. David

Find something to hook behind the knob. The spring steel clips on the levers are sharp and will remove bare finger flesh quite efficiently!!

Great advice. Thanks. I ended up using a pair of brake pliers to hook onto the back of the knobs. I gave them a pop and off they came. Just had to locate them as they went flying into the back of the Burban.
