Air Ride VS CPP

I've got a 72 short bed and i want to put front and rear tubu lar arms and xmembers on it.. Whats everyones opinion and why on these two sets? Both seem to be in the same ball park on price. and from pictures they both look nice so what the diff and which does everyone think is better? Also rear brake conversions, is CPP set a good setup or is there a better option out there? Thanks in advance

Re: Air Ride VS CPP

CPP is set up for coil springs, ART for bags. Basically the same other than that. I honestly haven't seen but a handful of trucks with either setup. Most seem to think it is a waste of money, but you can't beat the cool factor when people crawl under your truck!

The brakes can be done cheaper, but you will have to piece it together. Complete kits are great 'cause it's all there. Do a little research on CPP before you place a huge order with them. Their product is great, but they lack in other areas...

Take this for what it's worth- $0.02 -Chris

Re: Air Ride VS CPP

Mike-
If you are converting to air bags I would recommend the ART components. If you are sticking with the steel coil springs you are limited in choices. CPP has been getting a bad wrap for customer service... if you go that route be prepared.
