What did you trucks cost you?

Saw this as a Burb thread so ....
Mine was free! An older gentleman gave my family a 1989 F##D Crown Vic when our Grand Am blew the motor. I then traded it for my truck Straight across for the car after we got a better family car.

Re: What did you trucks cost you?

$700 and drove it 2 hours home. After I got home I got scared because of the things that really needed to be fixed before I drove it home. Like: tires, belts, hoses, brakes, a real bad gas leak from hose that goes into tank.

Re: What did you trucks cost you?

mine was $200, 180000mi ? on a 250, free extra 250 with the truck - free rear window (needed) - free new fuel pump - free hole in both sides of the floor pan - free old tires in the bed - pretty much the coolest truck ever.

Re: What did you trucks cost you?

$300, plus $5 for a replacement title, and another $300 on new rotors, drums, calipers, shoes, pads, lines for the 5 lug disc brake swap. i guess $605 for a truck that I can drive most anywhere.

Re: What did you trucks cost you?

Started as a $350 rusty P.O.S. $5000 later,a completely different and rust free body,a totally rebuilt drivetrain,a lift, wheels and tires later...and it almost runs Now another 5-6 k more in paint and it might be done.

Re: What did you trucks cost you?

Bought my 71 daily driver C-10, 350, 4-speed, 3.73 last August for $600. So far all I have had to do was a tune-up.

Re: What did you trucks cost you?

My dad passed my 71 down to me when I was 14. He bought it from my uncle in '83 for $1400 with a rebuilt engine.
My uncle bought it when it was only a couple of years old.
