Re: watts link
Totally Polished does some great work. I've never seen any bad from them, but never been able to afford their parts and such. I'd prefer suicide doors cuz their so often used and do such great work rather than using a company not many use.

Re: watts link
I haven't used a TP one but i did put in a BYC watts and a parrallel 4 link on a truck a few months ago. They work real well with big power, and its stays centered through the suspension cycles.

Re: watts link
It's prob just me but...... the first thing I would do w/that set-up is grind all those freakin' 'points' off that thing.
Looks like a bunch of arrows pointing all over the place

Re: watts link
Look up Speedway Motors and you can get a watts link kit cheap, just have to do some fitting to your truck, I plan on this route.

Re: watts link
yoyo, nice setup. I like your mounting to the axle vs. other Watts. Looks real clean. What brake setup you got going there?

Re: watts link
The totally polished Watts is very nice! I too like the way yoyo mounted it to the axle. I thought about doing mine that way but just ended up going this route.
My .02 is build one. Doesn't take much and you wil save a ton of $$. I'm into mine for about $150.00 |

Re: watts link
I bought the bearings at Car Quest. The heim joints from the local off road shop. They also made the link bars for me with reverse thread on one end. Works great! I only have about 500 miles on the truck but looks good so far.

Re: watts link
Those are some nice DIY Watt's links guys. Are there any "how to's" on the site, or anywhere, about how to build one?

Re: watts link
Craig, If I'm not mistaken It's to keep the rear centererd at all times and heights. Track bars always end up pushing the rear over to one side after you go so far with them. If you remember looking at Tim Christians sons orange truck, when he's aired out one of the tires will touch the bedside. A watts link would keep him centered up and keep the tires off of the bedsides. (Not knocking the orange pickup, she's super sweet!). Of course I could be wrong........but I'm pretty sure that this is what they're for.
