posit.3:42 disk,rearend.
Will this unit fit a 66 c/10. I know it will need some welding done, but is it worth the problems? Its a 99 trans am lt1 with positrack. disk brake and 3:42 gears.. the guy has a couple of them at a very good price.

i dont think is has the same lug pattern

You shouldn't fart around with that. You should put it on a pallet and send it to my house so I can put it in my 91 Camaro!
Seriously, I think there would be a lot of issues with an install. Sping Perches, e-brake cables, u-joint yoke, lug pattern (likely 5 x 4.75) and width. On the plus side, the brakes are terrific and it is a pretty good rear (not bomb proof, but good)- but a good bit of work to make it all happen. Best S-D |
