Question... How did you manage to get the cab off the frame? I'm curious as to the best way to get one off of the frame without too much damage.

I got mine off by first stripping it of everything and then employing three neighbors and four Bud Light's....came right off.

I didn't. We pretty much damaged the part of the rocker panel that connects to the front fender. I had two rocker panel sleeves, but now I have to sell them and buy the full rocker panel. Correct me if i'm wrong on that assumtion? We kinda just lifted it up and pushed it until it hit the floor. Kinda sucks, but whats done is done.

I cut my cab into little peices because it was way to far gone. Came off easy that way.

lookin good.
when we removed the cab we stripped it down to nothing inside by this point it weighed hardly anything, me my dad and 2 friends helped move it, it was very cumbresome, but weight was no problem. |

I didn't even touch mine...(my back was injured) I just bribed 4 friends with the promise of beer and a cook out. They didn't even scratch it.
Now when it was just my dad and I, (2 bad backs) it hit the pavement pretty hard, and when I silit it 15 feet on smooth cement, it made a gawd awfull sound... Sux havin it in storage now. |
