buddy buckets?

I found a suburban with buckets and I am wondering if they are considered the same as buddy buckets. Or are they atleast a close to factory buckets?

Re: buddy buckets?

Need a picture to tell for sure...but no buddy buckets ('67-'68 trucks only) in the burbys since there is no back for the center bucket to rest against.

Re: buddy buckets?

I didn't have a camera with, but thay are factory buckets for that suburban(it was a 72). They look identical to the buddy buckets except for the middle seat. they are independent of each other. I actually found two suburbans with the buckets and one with a bench in the front. I know there are some suburban guys out there that know what I am talking about.

Those aren't considered buddy buckets, those are truck/blazer/suburban buckets witha a center console. Buddy buckets were 67/68. They came in suburbans also, but didn't have the foldback seat like the truck ones. Here's a couple of pictures of the factory burb ones and the truck ones. The last picture is of the set that I re-did. I took a set of truck ones and modified the back so that it wouldn't fall back wards when raised up.

Here are a few threads on them:

Re: buddy buckets?

The ones that I found, going by those threads are the suburban buckets. There is no center counsol. I can get them pretty cheap, what is to much to pay for them?
