i found a truck today on a back road here around town that is one of the most highly optioned trucks ive ever seen. its a '70 orange/white chevy c/10. odometer said 95,000 which i would believe is correct due to untouched condition of the truck. first thing i noticed was orignal AM radio still in place. then i noticed it was an a/c truck. i opened up the glovebox door to look at the options list and it looked like two full paragraphs!! i remember it having a 350/th350 setup, TILT COLUMN!, a/c, AM radio, HD rear springs, tinted glass, belt moldings all around, and a ton of other options. im sure there were at least 20 on the plate. i couldnt get an answer at the door, but ill sure be going back sometime this week (with a camera) and see if i cant get ahold of this thing!

BTW you only got your first 67 to 72 truck a month or two ago correct? YOU CAUGHT THE BUG HARD LIKE THE REST OF US!!

good luck, and just so you know, tilt was first availabe in 1970, so I am thinking it's a 70

Don't let the plate thing stop you. My truck was not for sale either so said the PO. He changed his mind and I picked it up as third owner with protecto plate.

I had one exactly like it...2nd owner and had to get rid of it

since then I've seen it around and it's trashed now. I miss that truck.
But now I have a short fleet

nope, no answer at the door still. its inspected til january of '08 and also has tags til january, but i know that the truck hasnt moved since it got its inspection & tags a few months ago. is this thing a cool find or am i just getting excited about nothing?

I prefer short beds but as you know more $$$$. If you can get it for the right price I say go for it. I like the orange and white combo also think white door panels are cool probably because thats the way my truck is set up except with off white seat, visors, seat belts etc. To me it looks like an old man owns it because of white walls and little console in the middle.

well im gonna point out that i would be trying to get this truck somply to sell it to one of you guys lol. it looks to me the truck hasnt been moved in the past few months ad i cant stand to see a truck rot, especially one as preserved as this one. being a full time student in college and working part time i cant afford two projects, either. so if i do buy it i figure somebody would be chomping at the bit

Found the truck today. Could not get anyone to answer at the house next to it on the right. I got back to the office and found out it is titled to Ruso Moss,2625 Roy Rd, Tyler, Tx 75707. His phone # is unlisted. I did not check the address to make sure it wasn't the house across the street. He might be willing to sell it because my research shows it is his fourth vehicle in a house with only two licensed drivers. It looks like he titled it in his name 1/25/2000.
He must not drive it very often because he reregistered it 3/2/07 but the expiration is 01/08. The owner is 59 years old. Go get em.

If I caught some one going over my truck (and did not know them) like this they might just get shot
