Some progrees while on vacation

Most people actually travel on their vacation all I have done so far is travel back and forth from the garage. Finished shaving the fenders then painted the inner fenders and the inside of the outer fenders and assembled. Started to sand down the hood and found a lot of surface rust. Going to keep working on the project a couple of more days then take the granddaughter to Bush Gardens for the weekend.

I'm thinking of pancaking the hood but I cant decide. anyone ever done it on these hoods.
