remove front bags without poppin B.J.?

For those of you running bags, plates and cups on the front. Can you air down, jack up the front end and take the bags out without seperating ball joints? Just curious.

Maybe. It would be close and a bit of a pain in the ass. If my cups were cut, I think it would clear without issue.

I recall someone talking about the cup popping out when they jacked the front up. If that happens, unbolt the plate and slide.

On my set-up (running schrader valves on my rolling chassis), if the front bags are deflated and you jack up the front end, the bags stay in their deflated state; with the cup hanging on the bottom well above the lower a-arm. I wouldn't think you'd have trouble getting the plate unbolted and out.

*edit - Jimmy Dean! What's with this "SOLD" business in your sig? Did I miss something somewhere?*

[HIJACK] Yes, sad but true. I sold the truck in my avatar and purchased a 71 K20 Super Redneck Edition. As much as I loved it, a 2WD does not fit my needs. Pics and stats of the K20 to follow soon (in the 4x4 forum). It's in sad shape, but holds a lot of promise. As much as "Daisy" will be missed, the wife is a great deal happier with "Ugly Betty"

I also purchased a Toyota Supra (to fill the performance void), but that's for another forum. [/HIJACK]
