Front wheel bowing out on a 68 c10

Awhile back I had posted saying that my front wheel was bowing out when I would turn. I wasn't sure what the problem was, but I figured it could use new shocks and springs. Well I talked to the guy at the shop today (he is installing disc brakes, brake booster, power steering off an 87 chevy, and the shocks and springs) and the upper control arm was cracked and the bushings were shot! The control arm itself would clunk up and down when he would move it. I picked up new ones at Performance Online (they are just around the corner from where I live) for $250.00 and they will be put on along with everything else by the end of the week. Just figured I'd post in case anyone is having the same problem! I also picked up a 1999 Chevy truck bench seat today that I will be installing (it has new upholstery and I picked it up for $80.00).

The old girl is gonna be driving sweet after this ( I have a 1 1/4" strut bar I'm going to put on the front this weekend too!!)
