my father is in the hospital with a heart attack again and is about to pass, so i have to go to illinois instead. the hotel wont let me out of my reservation but they said if someone else calls and ask to take my place then they will let me out of it. so, if you want to go the rate was 55 a night, i believe. i have friday and saturday night. this hotel is right across the street from the show. just tell them you want to take keith lay's reservation for those nights. and please let me know if you do so i can make sure they dont charge me too. 828 926 1186

Josh talked with the holiday motel about setting up using the hotel for next year and all.. we have spoken to the owner about that aspect and will try to do what we can to get your money back Keith. I dont know what we can or cant do, but they will know if they screw you over they will not get the sites business.

As for the hotel - that is really crappy of them - they can have that room rented out immediately on a busy weekend like that - speaks very loudly to me that they lack customer service! Pretty low.

the messed up part is we spoke to the owner last week. they were so nice and wanting to work with us etc.. we did not tell them others were reg there from the site now and such to see how the service was. So far I am not impressed.. there is no reason at all they could not cancel that far in advance..

I had the same thing happen to me, only in Monterey, CA - for $250.00! It was for a meeting that I was going to, and at the last minute the other person (a customer) got ill, so we ate the cost of the room. Fortunately, my company paid for it. I understand why they do it, but there are legitimate times when people just can't make it. I am praying for you and your father - I lost mine last June. God Bless.
