Fluid Differential Capacities 14 bolt
I just checked the oil level<added until full> on my recently rebuilt <3000miles ago>14 boltFF. I had to add about a quart and a half!
Was wondering if there was any oil in it? How much do they hold? 3 quarts?? Its not leaking so when they rebuilt it they didnt put enough oil in it. Wonder how long that rear end will last? Mostly only been using it on short trips<under a couple of hours and under 60MPH> this winter. Plus im in Alberta and despite the Al Gore claims were not having any global warming going on up here. Im thinking that rear end is alright then if they hold that much. I will do a autozone web search and double check the capacity. I rechecked my rear last night when I got the truck rear end perfectly level and about a half a quart came back out so it was really only down a quart. |
