Question can someone tell me for sure if these would fit

Here is my problem,

Started working on my 71 C10 2wd stepside project again and took my front upper and lower control arms apart to paint and start reasemble.

I found my lower arms are both smashed or dented on the front where the shaft assembly mounts, I would like to change them out with non bent arms.

I have a 72 C20 2wd out in the weeds that should be great shape, but before I get real dirty in the mud and weeds,

??? would the lower control arms from the C20 work on my C10, I know the ball joints are different but are the ball joints holes the same diameter (I have new C10 ball joints ready to install, again would this swap work,

Thanks in advance,
Rich

Re: can someone tell me for sure if these would fit

Been out checking and found that the 3/4 ton does not seem like it would work for the ball joint appears bigger,

Did crawl under a 68 truck I have and found that they appear the same, took one out and appears the ball joint is shorter in length but same diameter hole which is fine since I have new ones and these arms are in great shape so I found my donors, but didnt want to rob from the complete 68 shortbox stepside I had saved for maybe a future project but hey 71 first, I say....

You're correct. The 3/4 ton lower arms are not the same b'cuz of the ball joint size. However you can interchange the uppers. The 3/4 and 1 ton can interchange.
