Cowl Hoods

i wanted to buy a truck a while back that was a short fleet 72 lowered with a 4 inch cowl hood,nice truck...but not for sale.i want a 4 inch for my truck but you can only get them in glass, unless you have the skills to weld one on

I personally like the cowls on these trucks. I would definitly go with one. here's some pics of my daily driver. (Ignore the stupid flames, they are no longer there, will upload new photos soon) Hope this helps!

I like them as well...I bought one for my Son's 72 Nova and will get one for my 69 as well (has 68 front clip). I think they are okay on the 69-72's, but prefer them on the 67/68's much more. I like the way the 67/68 hood slopes back more and makes the cowl hood look that much better.

Hart Rod and chevyboy looks like 2 different cowl heights do they come in different heights or are they 2 different manufacturers??

Heres one on my 2wd. It isnt aligned or painted. I had planned on a flat hood but engine plans changed and I needed the extra clearance.
