Tricked out head and I think, if I remember correctly a dual 4-brl manifold. I was a really young...don't rememer, but I think it was a Nova or some s#it. I like your truck.... John

Re: 60's progress pics
Thanks , yea its a split manifold, no glass packs yet. The intake is set up for a 4bbl , but I havent found an afforadable one (390cfm) , so it has a 2bbl on it. It runs nice.
Yes Gulfcoast I did the seat my self, it came from www.automotiveinteriors.com It still needs to be tighted up some. man I missed the car show , how was it ? I live off of Story Rd. and that place was crazy, so I decided just to stay home. Last edited by slepysal; 05-06-2007 at 02:47 PM. |

Re: 60's progress pics
Looks great! Love the motor. I'm putting a 250 in the 65 SWB that I'm building. I want to do the things you did..Header, 4-bbl intake, chrome. I found a set of header this weekend at a swap meet. Now I just need the intake and chrome. Where did you get yours? Are you running a points distributor or HEI? Nice job!

Re: 60's progress pics
I have a seat like your BEFORE seat. Your newly covered seat looks great and so does the rest of the truck.

Re: 60's progress pics
Thanks guys. I still have a ways to go, I have the power steering kit, tilt steering colunm , but have yet to install them. I also plan on re doing the exhaust and getting her painted. This is a low budget project, so chances are I'll have my local Earl Shiebs do it, don't laugh they dodecent work
