Get answers here

For all you guys who need answers to our truck questions here is the place.

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/t.asp?page=6

It's the online catalog for LMC trucks and there is a wealth of info on GMC and Chevy trucks. You can order a free copy of the catalog here also. I have the spring issue and I see answers for questions that are asked here every day. There are also lots of detailed pictures that show how stuff goes together. Try it you'll like it. VV

Re: Get answers here

The pictures in the catalog are the only reason I get it. Their customer service is so bad I will not order any parts from them.

Re: Get answers here

yep, they've NEVER gotten any of my parts right... ordered from them 5 or 6 times (before I discovered the internet and vendors worthy of my money) and they got EVERY SINGLE order wrong... and most of the time there shipping was patheticly slow.

Re: Get answers here

Their catalog is better than most of the manuals I've found.I have quite a few manuals that I've bought over the years.I have never bought from them because i found a resource that let me in on their customer(no service) secrets and also gave me a list of worthy vendors.OHhhhh, since you're here I guess you did too.

Re: Get answers here

I've never had a problem with them or Brothers or any of the places I've ordered from. I've had to wait on backordered parts from Brothers, my only complaint is I should get a discount for as much as I order.

Re: Get answers here

I have only ordered from LMC once and was pleased with the quality and price.

What I like about them is the catalog is free and has a lot of information in it.

Luckily the 71 C-10 I bought last year is complete and my daily driver, also I have found a good place near me to buy quality parts reasonable and the guy that runs it knows a lot about old General Motors trucks.

Same for me. Great luck and when I did have a problem with a part after it was installed, they made it right. No complaints about LMC.

Re: Get answers here

I've heard a lot of people bad mouth LMC, but I've never had a problem with them and I love the catalog. I think most of the ill-will comes from the fact that they're not a site vendor. I wish they were one so that I wouldn't have that little bit of guilt I get when ordering from them and not one of our wonderful site vendors.
