'68 C-10 I looked at
Hey guys, in my search for a parts truck or a cheap truck to drive I came accross a 68 C-10. I saw it in the auto trader, so I phoned the guy and aranged to see it. So me and my dad drive for an hour to see the thing. It was listed for $1200 so I figured it would be in decent condition. Unfortunatly I was wrong. The pass fender was smashed and overlaping the door. He said it came with a spare but when I looked at it, it was for a 69-72. The roof looked like a tree fell on it and so does the tailgate.
The engine was shot and only felt like it was running on 7 cyliders. He said it was a 283 but I thought they changed to a 307 for '68. The doors and bedsides looked OK but since I have a blazer that doesn't really help. The rockers and Cab corners were shot like usual. The lowest I was able to talk him down was $900 but that is still way too much. If the front clip was in good shape I wanted to put it on my blazer but it was in too bad condition. Funny thing is while I was looking at it, some guy pulled up and said he had a '69 C-10 for sale in better condition and for alot less. So I got his number and will check it out this week. I know you guys like pics so here you go! Evan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

When I go to look at the '69 I'll be sure to post some pics. Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up, I need some parts for my Blazer.
