66 Vent Window Rubber... Whos Done It?

I 've done the searches and read til I'm cross-eyed. A few guys say they have used a regular rivet gun and it worked fine. Others say they had to modify the tool they bought to do the job. Others say they gave up. I'll admit right off, I'm not interested in hearing the "I haven't done it yet, but I think... blah, blah, blah" stories. If you got a few minutes and ya wanna show off yer vent window skills, PLEASE do so. Any and all tips, advice or horror stories welcome. Thanks for your time.
Dave

Uhhhh... anyone interested in doing a set? Couldn't hurt to ask right? LOL

I would like to know too. My girlfriend bought me the window rubber for my 62 for Christmas with the tool and the rivets, but I still haven't grown a set to do them yet...This info would be great...

Here is how I did the vents on a 54 Chevy truck. It may lend itself to your year also. It really was not that difficult to do.
