Want to borrow or buy engine hoist/cherry picker

Like the title says, looking to get a used engine lift to pull the motor in the truck to go through it. I'd like to have it fairly close as I don't have a truck (that runs ) to pick it up and I'd need help loading it (recent back surgery and cannot lift )

I know I am probably asking too much but I'll never know unless I ask. I did pick up an engine stand last weekend so I have that going for me. I have seen a handfull on Craigslist but nobody seems to want to return my calls/emails, they're probably already gone anyways. I also could buy one from Harbor Freight or Pep Boys, just a lot of money for a one time use.

Let me know if someone out there has something.

Mike

Don't know how far south you are, but there are two of them presently listed in the San Diego Union Tribune classifieds for $100.00 each.

If memory serves me well,(I saw the ads this morning), they are either under auto parts & supplies or under tools and equipment.

Hey Mike - I don't have a cherry picker, but if you find something in San Diego let me know if I can help out. I'd be happy to help out if I can - just let me know with time.
