Hinges or latch assembly....

Well Im starting to tear my truck apart....starting with the interior. Gettin in and out of it alot...

Im having problems with my door not closing, I have to slam it 2-3 times before it finally closes most of the time. Other times just simply letting go of the door and letting it close its self will work flawlessly. And getting out I have to hold the handle up and hit the door pretty hard to get it to open.

I had a similar problem on a buddies Nova, it was his door pins making his door sag and the latch wasnt lining up properly.

Are there door pins on our trucks....or is there a way to adjust the hinges. Or is there a chance there could be something wrong with the latch? would spraying a healthy coat of the WD40 on it do anything to help?

Thanks,
Mitch-

Re: Hinges or latch assembly....

try adjusting on the hinges and see what happens and if that dont work then try the latch

Make sure your door is lineing up properly and not dragging other wise the striker is adjustable to get a good fit these trucks dont have pins
