Bucket seats
Anybody ever install bucket seats in their 60-66? If so, from what kind of vehicle that works well with the 60-66 cab?
thx

Re: Bucket seats
I put buckets and center from 90 Blazer in mine. For now the seats only have two bolts in them, and the center is just sitting there.

Re: Bucket seats
When I first bought my truck it had some 90 bucket seats in them. I didn't like them that much. I ended up trading them for an original bench seat.

Re: Bucket seats
When I bought mine it had some buckets out of a ford van, they were ok but I hated the faded blue tweed look, so I also found a bench for it.

Re: Bucket seats
those seats look good b454rat.
They fit our trucks better IMO than the later 90s+ models do. |

Re: Bucket seats
They are both from full size. Had Astro van seats in, looked similiar to those but had the armrests on both sides. I hate not having my arm somewhere to go while driving. But, this is 4 speed, so I guess it will be somewhere.....Want to start working on it again....

Re: Bucket seats
These are out of a '98 Lincoln Towncar- 6 way power- took lots of massaging to get them to fit . They were too thick and too tall. The center seat can be used as an armrest. That is one reason I chose this seat. Good luck with which ever seat you choose. |

Re: Bucket seats
2002 Silverado. Built in seat belts, lumbar adjust and center 3rd seat/console. I got the manual version but they are available in power. I installed the seats prior to my tank relocation. Didn't gain any legroom after however.

Re: Bucket seats
I just installed bucket seats with the middle console/jump seat in my 64 C10. They came out of a 97 Dodge Pickup. I did have to cut the brackets down a little because the seats were too high, otherwise they fit great.

Re: Bucket seats
I'd like to revive this thread from the dead as I need seat ideas BADLY for PAC MAN. I guess the previous owner thought racing seats were cool. He was sadly mistaken. Also, I'm 6'5" and about 275 so they simply dont work with my frame! I'm not one to do a bunch of cutting and removing stuff and all of that, I'd like to find something that'll bolt in fairly easy. Those Lincoln seats from QWYKTRUK sure look good, but seem like a pain to install (Plus it a FORD part!) I changed the seat in my old rust bucket, used a bench fron a 94 GMC pickup. Worked fine, was a little shorter on the passenger side but no big deal. So far I like the 02 Silverado idea with the integrated seat belts...any other ideas?
