Trippin' in the junk...

yard that is.

I went for a part, didn't get that, but found something else I needed. Then decided to take some pictures to share with you guys. Gotta love rust, it's my second favorite color.

HG

I also bought a 72 Jimmy 4x4 , I'm posting pics on the blazer board for that one.

That's some pretty nice grille trim on that '68 for a bone yard truck!

The opposite corner was damaged I think. Looks like a good sleeper, just drop a newer v-6 in and hold on.

Anything is rebuildable. Have you seen some of the wrecks selling on ebay lately. Rusty shells going for prices that tell you its not for the parts, just cause it was considered anything close to a muscle car.

Re: Trippin' in the junk...

The black C10 looks pretty good. Someone haul that thing out of there and restore it!

And the "Playboy Express"....I'd hate to think of the things that have probably gone down in there.

Re: Trippin' in the junk...

No kidding, that blue '59 still has a bed-mounted spare, all of its glass, and all of its sheet metal. Around here, something like that wouldn't even have time to leave an imprint in the grass, let alone sink in to the earth, someone would snap it up right-quick.
