Power Disc Brake Booster Question.
I have a power disc brake booster in my '71 parts truck and want to install it into my '67 with drums. Can I just remove the old master cylinder and install the power unit? Since I will not be installing disc brakes yet, can I just use the existing switch manifold?
It looks like I can come right out of the new power booster switch manifold to the front and rear of my drum set-up...any thoughts?

Stllookn,
I have a 69 w/ pwr drums. You want to use the rod to the pedal, bracket, booster, and your old m/c (good time to replace it if it needs it). The Proportion Valve(switch Manifold) that is on your truck should work as well. When you go to power Disks, the m/c and prop. valve changes. You may need a couple of gaskets... |

So I will just switch all the hardware from the brake pedal to the booster from the '71 to the '67, replace the '71 MC with a rebuilt '67 master cylinder and use my old proportioning valve...sounds easy...THANKS!
