Got pulled over in the 68 tonight

The wife and I were coming home from a party tonight. At first I thought I was speeding cause the speedo isn't working right now. I think the gear is stripped on the 400. Come to find out my license plate lights are blue LED's and I didn't know it. It was a P/O "upgrade". I just got the truck Monday and haven't really checked them out. The State Trooper guy was really cool about it. They usually give out tickets here cause they can but he gave me a warning. He was an older guy and was asking me about the truck. He asked what the engine was and when I told him 454 he said holy s#!t, are you kidding? I guess having an old truck got me outta it cause he liked it. Pretty cool if you ask me. Why would someone put on blue plate lights?

Differentialality

"GQ" has clear lenses and amber lights (Everywhere)

"Merlot" has clear lenses and (Will have) red lights (Everywhere)

YES, I know that's a No-No, but I run Antique tags here in TN

I'd say the PO was just being different

I don't know... every rice boy and his grandma seems to have blue lights socked in where they don't be long. Cornering lights, license plate lights, dome lights, etc. Hard to call something like that unique when everybody's doing it.

I Have Blue Bullet Lights On My Tag. I Put Them There Because My Truck Is Blue. I Know I Could Get A Ticket For It, But That A Chance I Will Have To Take. I Really Like The Look!!!!

Thats cool! Law enforcement people are pretty nice folks around here. I'm running blue dots in my tailights and have never been bothered by them.
