Re: tranny ?

The 700R4 uses the same bolt pattern as the T350 for the 205 adapter.. the tailshaft is longer on the 700R4.. You can just cut it off if desired or have a trans shop change it out.. The 700R4 is longer between the belhousing mount and the transfer case so you will have to either move the engine and trans forward or move the transfer case and crossmember back and redo the linkage and drivelines
Here is a link to the dimensions for different transmissions

Re: tranny ?

when I did mine I think it was 2 in longer I used a spacer that goes between the trans and the transfer case I think it was 3/4 of an in thick. I posted the info up here before on were i bought the spacer it was the cheapest and easyest way to go I think I paid 50 for it at the time.

Re: tranny ?

thanks for the help guys. was thinking about going to the 700 but it's a little late in the game now. i'm nearly ready for final assembly just need to finish engine and install . the rest of the driveline is in and it's in paint. i know i'm gonna want to make other changes but i think i'm gonna put her togather and run her awhile and see what i like and don't then do her again since i started this project i got 6 more so i have different goALS FOR WHAT I WANT IT TO DO thanks again
